The series

Website Rescue.

We find Southwest Florida businesses whose websites are quietly losing them calls, and rebuild them from scratch. First up: three Lee County AC companies. Real Google scores, before and after.

Unsolicited concept rebuilds. These companies aren’t our clients and didn’t commission or endorse this work; their sites were tested as they were in October 2026.

Rescue #01 · Cape Coral

Mr. Cool Air Conditioning & Heating “The Freeze”

What was broken

  • Not one tap-to-call button anywhere on the site
  • The first phone screen is a giant logo, no headline, no offer
  • Google gave it a 37 for mobile speed

What we built

  • A site that freezes as you scroll: a thermometer drops from 97° to 68°
  • Their snowman mascot, rebuilt and skating across a frozen canal
  • 17 pages: every service, every city, with full search markup

What was broken

  • The first phone screen is a big gray box where a photo should be
  • Every coupon on the site says it expired in 2022
  • A 35-year family story and a mobile-home specialty, buried

What we built

  • A vintage Florida postcard starring their real mascot: three penguins
  • A sun that sets as you scroll, ending on a neon motel-sign phone number
  • Their real reviews, postmarked by neighborhood, and 18 pages

How a rescue works

Audit. Redesign. Rebuild. Prove it.

  1. The audit

Google PageSpeed, a mobile walk-through and an SEO check. What’s on the first phone screen? Can you tap to call? Does Google even know what the business does?

  2. Three directions

Three genuinely different full-page designs, built around the business’s real story, mascot and offers. Never a template.

  3. The rebuild

15+ fast pages: every service, every city, real reviews, tap-to-call on every screen, motion that makes people stay.

  4. The proof

The same Google test, on camera. Then we show the owner what their website could be doing for them.

Questions

Good to know.

Are these businesses your clients?

Not yet. Website Rescue rebuilds are unsolicited concepts: we pick a local business whose site is losing them calls, rebuild it to show what is possible, and offer it to the owner. Nobody paid for these and nobody endorsed this page.

Where do the scores come from?

Google PageSpeed Insights, mobile, run on the live sites in October 2026. Their sites were tested as they were; the rebuilds were tested after launch. Scores move a point or two between runs, so we report the run we filmed.

Can you do this for my business?

Yes. Start with a free audit: we run the same tests on your site and tell you what is costing you calls. If it makes sense, we build you something like these.

Why AC companies first?

In Southwest Florida an AC company lives on the phone. When the site is slow or hides the number, people call the next result. It is the clearest before-and-after there is.
